We are back from our vacation in Crete and I have so much to tell you about it! It wasn't really a vacation with rest cause you know, a baby was with us, lol, but it had its moments! While we were there I got to thinking about how lucky I am to be married to N. since he is a wonderful husband and father to our daughter. Apart from breastfeeding her, he does everything I do and then some. He is a great partner!

If you are thinking of tying the knot with the love of your life, I can't say enough good words about being married. It's a difficult and blessed life at the same time and I wouldn't change it for anything! If you are in the market for a ring for her, read on for some cool tips!

Buying an engagement ring has got to be the ultimate act of romance, but there are also some important practical considerations to, well, consider, especially when it comes to lifestyle.

Purchasing an engagement ring is a decision filled with emotion, but don’t leave out the practicality. You are choosing a massive symbol of commitment and love for the woman you want to spend your life with. But, you do need to choose something that is going to suit her, work with her lifestyle, and something she will be proud to wear for the rest of her life.

Considering Her Lifestyle

The ring that you choose for your beloved is going to be on her hand every day for years to come. So, when it comes to choosing wedding rings that Sydney couples love, you need to carefully consider her lifestyle. It is worth noting that a lot of ladies do not like having to remove their engagement and wedding ring for their line of work, their hobbies, or sport, so you will need to think about how the ring you want to buy will fit neatly into what she does each and every day. For instance:

Does she, or is she planning to, work in a job where she has to take care of people, such as a physical therapist, a nurse, or even a teacher?

Does she tend to work with her hands a lot, such as a welder, landscaper, or chef? If so, you may want to consider buying a ring without elevated diamonds, and ones in a safe and secure prong setting.

Is your bride-to-be athletic? Does she play a great deal of time sports or engage in activities like yoga, swimming, or skiing? Take some time to truly think about how she uses her hands, how she handles any equipment, and if she wears any gear in her sports that will require her to remove her rings when she is active.

Does your lady like getting her hands dirty, such as in an art studio, the garden, or even the kitchen? If this is the case, you may want to consider a prong setting that is usually much easier to clean.

Don’t Forget to Think About Her Personal Style, Too

As well as her lifestyle, you should think carefully about her personal style when choosing a wedding ring. What does she love wearing to express herself in her work setting, social gatherings, or even when she’s hanging out around the house? Take special note of the fabrics she chooses to wear, the kinds of shoes she prefers, and even other jewellery she tends to favour – this will also give you great insight into what she finds comfortable and what fits into her lifestyle.

Of course, budget is also going to play a role in what type of ring you choose for your fiancé-to-be’s lifestyle. If you have not yet started researching rings, be prepared to spot prices that may be more than you thought they would be. Fortunately, there are enough options out there to suit every budget, and every type of lifestyle!
